Virtual Mechanics: About Virtual Mechanics Inc.

In 1984 Steve founded Neo-Visuals, one of the first commercial 3D graphics software companies in the world. NVI's technology was sold to SAS Institute, and after a stint as the founding President of SAS Canada Steve took time off to pursue his other passions - his family and sailing. Animation was his calling however and in the mid 90's he was back developing software to put interactive animation on the Web. Steve passed away in 2002, but not before ensuring that Virtual Mechanics had a dedicated, committed group of people in place to carry on his vision.

Today, Virtual Mechanics products are used world-wide by businesses, web hosting companies, professional institutions, schools, and the home user. We continue Steve's passion for developing sophisticated, quality products at an affordable price. Our goal is to ensure you derive as much pleasure using our products as we do creating them.

Virtual Mechanics has been developing award-winning software products since 1998, though our roots stretch back much further. Our founder - Steve White - started a number of successful high-tech companies over the last 25 years, including one of North America's first computer animation companies - Vertigo Graphics - in the early 80's.
