Rendering
Virtual Mechanics WebDwarf V2 includes many advanced rendering operations.

Image Rotation:
Loaded images can be rotated, previewed and published with minimal effort by selecting the image object with the mouse. To rotate it using the keyboard press the control key while pressing the arrow keys until it is rotated as desired. You can also use the Quick Editor or Object Editor to set a precise rotation. Preview or publish, the program will automatically generate a rotated replica of the original image.
Transparency:
Any object including images can be assigned transparency. Select the object and assign a shading component through the Quick Editor or Shading Editor if it does not already have one. Use the the transparency slider to set the desired level of transparency. Preview or publish, the object will be rendered with transparency.
Gradiant Shading:
Vector geometry can be assigned flat, linear, cylindrical or spherical shading with transparency through the Quick or Shading Editors.
Anti-Aliasing
Vector geometry, titles, and bitmaps can all be automatically anti-aliaised to produce extremely smooth edges without the need to transfer images from a 3rd party paint program each time you make a change to your web page.
Anti-aliasing is applied to titles and imported images even when they are rotated or shaded. When you publish, Text objects and images will automatically be rendered with any changes you have made to the web page. Does the background color need just a minor change in intensity or hue? All anti-aliased objects will be re-rendered into the new background without having to redo and republish potentially hundreds of images.
Thumb Nail Images
Thumb nail images can be produced by selecting the Thumb Nail button in the Object Editor. When selected, objects - including images - will be re-rendered at the resolution they are being displayed at. To produce a thumb-nail of an image set the Thumb-Nail button, scale the image to any desired size and preview or publish. The image will be re-rendered at the display resolution. Add multiple images to a table with the thumb-nail option to create a picture link table.
Additional SiteSpinner V2 and Web Engine V2 features
Transparency Mapping
Select the Transparency Mapping button in the Shading Editor to shade an object with transparency mapping. When transparency mapping is enabled transparency will be assigned to an object according to the selected colors. Use transparency mapping to make the selected colors more transparent than unselected colors.
Texture Mapping
Assign textures to Vector Geometry in the Shading Editor.
A scaled texture will scale the image to the best fit in the vector geometry without distorting it. Areas that are not covered by the image will be filled in the shading color.
A stretched texture will stretch the image independently on X and Y to fill the entire vector geometry.
A tiled texture will repeat the image without scaling on X and Y until the entire vector geometry is covered.
Image Enhancement
Images can be enhanced to adjust their brightness, contrast and colors. Enhancements are applied to a re-rendered version of the original image and will not affect the original.
Use enhancements to lighten scanned images, to correct color imbalances or to change the mood of a picture.
