The Visual Table Editor -Beta

As I mentioned at the top of the newsletter, we are almost ready to post a Beta of IMS Web Engine Version 2. If you are a registered Web Engine user and would like to be part of the beta test, please send an email to beta@VirtualMechanics.com

This first beta does not include all the new Version 2 features. A key addition that it does include however, is the Visual Table editor. Although there will be additional modifications especially to the user interface, the majority of the functionality is operational.

I had hoped to write a detailed article on the Table Editor but we kept finding small errors that delayed getting the demos set up. Since it is a holiday weekend for many people, I decided to publish the newsletter and let the demos speak for themselves.

is50fig1. The Table Editor
is50fig2. Adding Objects to the a table
is50fig3. A complex table
is50fig4. Animating a table
is50fig5. A table without CSS.

Next week more Version 2 features.
