Select Object

Before you can manipulate, move, transform, or edit an object, you must first select it. This tells SiteSpinnerô which object it is that you want to work with.

A selected object will appear outlined in the Work Window with a dotted bounding box. Depending on the editing mode you are working in, a selected object may also display various transformation controls.

The simplest way to select an object is to click it with your mouse. Sometimes, however, objects may be positioned on top of one another so that when you attempt to select one, you select the wrong one.

To select an object that is hidden behind another object, hold the Shift key down while you click your mouse. You will see the objectís bounding box, even if you canít see its contents. If itís hidden behind multiple objects, keep clicking until it is selected. (For more information, see Z Order (Layers).)

You can also quickly select all objects that are above or below a selected objectís Z order. Or, you can select all objects that are positioned on the page to the right or to the left of a selected object.
