The Paths tab of the Action Editor dialog box allows you to select the path an animated object can take. Four types of paths are available:
Key Frame Path: a frame in an animated sequence of frames
Object Path: follows the outline of another object or path
Follow Mouse Movement Path: follows the movement of the mouse
Linear Path: straight-line path in one of eight directions.
Use the Paths tab of the Action Editor dialog box to select the path type for the action.
|Create Key-Frame Path||Checking the Enable Motion Path checkbox activates the Key Frame Editor whenever you select the object with the key frame path.|
|Follow Object Path||Selects an object's geometry to provide a motion path. The path will follow the outline of the object.|
|Follow Mouse Movement||Selects the mouse on either or both the X and Y axes to guide the object.|
|Follow Linear Path||Selects one of eight directions to move an object.|
|OK||Click to accept the current settings and exit the dialog box.|
|Cancel||Click to cancel the operation and close the dialog box.|
|Help||Click to open a context-sensitive help topic.|
