Edit Menu

The Edit menu offers the following options:

Menu Option Submenu Option Description
Undo   Reverses previous editing operation.
Redo   Not available when an edit operation on an object has not been undone. Reapplies an edit operation that has just been undone.
Cut   Removes a selected object from the current page and stores it in temporary memory. This option will remove the object from only the current page and will not affect the object on any other pages onto which it has been included. For more information, see Cut Object.
Copy   Copies an object from the project to the clipboard. For more information, see Copy Object.
Delete   Removes a selected object from all pages in the project. For more information, see Delete Object.
Paste Copy   Inserts a cut or copied object onto the current page. You may also paste objects copied from other applications, such as text or images. Objects in the clipboard can also be Cloned or Included into the current page. For more information, see Paste Object.
Paste Clone   Inserts a cut or copied component-dependent object onto the current page. Then, changes to a component of the pasted clone object will affect all other objects that use the same component. For more information, see Clone Object.
Include Include on this Page Inserts an object or objects selected on another page onto the current page. For more information, see Include Object.
  Include on All Pages Inserts a selected object or objects on all pages of the project. For more information, see Include Object.
  Include on With an object or objects selected, opens the Page Selection &endash; Include dialog box to set the pages on which to insert the selected object(s). For more information, see Include Object.
Select All   Selects all objects on the current page. For more information, see Select Object.
Lock All   Prevents all objects on the current page from being transformed or moved. For more information, see Lock/Unlock Object.
Unlock All   Allows all objects on the current page to be transformed or moved. . For more information, see Lock/Unlock Object.
Clean Components   Removes all unused objects and components from the project. For more information, see Clean Components.
