You can add many different types of resources to a web page, such as movie, music, or Macromedia Flash™ files, Java applets, plug-ins, and HTML IFrames. You (and your web page viewers) will appreciate the extended functionality and interactivity that these objects can bring to your web project.
Specify the object type and any additional parameters using the Embed File or Media dialog box. Simply find the file on your system and SiteSpinner® Pro will take care of the rest. Then, if you have added a visible object, you can then move and resize the viewing frame the same as you would any other object.
With the exception of the Publish File option, embedded files and media objects will not be used in pages with an SVG output format.
Be aware that embedded media objects can fail for many different reasons. They include the following:
The user’s browser does not support the format.
A player, plug-in, or codec is not installed on the viewer’s system.
The host server is not set up to support the format.
The host server does not have the correct MIME-type set.
The host server does not support streaming media.
The parameters for the object are not set correctly.
The media or code is corrupt or invalid.
