Object Manipulation

You can speed up your work by copying objects and pasting them elsewhere in your project. You can assign various target copy options to an object that can control what happens when its pasted duplicates are edited. This can further maximize your efficiency.

You can also cut an object to save it for pasting later, or you may delete an object to remove it from the project entirely.

Don’t be confused between the cut, copy, and paste commands for objects and the cut, copy, and paste commands for pages. Although the two sets of commands are partially interrelated, the controls and menu options for each command are different. For more information, see Page Manipulation.
