Tab Guides

If you know exactly where on the page you want to align a text box and title, a navigation bar, or a gallery of images, etc., and you want to repeat the alignment layout on multiple pages, using Tab Guides will save time and trouble.

You can draw horizontal and vertical Tab Guides by setting tab stops in the X or Y Ruler. (For more information, see Tab Guides.) Tab Guides will appear as horizontal or vertical green dotted lines across the Work Window. Then, you can select an object or group of objects and click a button in the Arrange Bar to automatically position the selection against the Tab Guides.

You can move a Tab Guide by clicking it in the Ruler and dragging it either left or right.
