Use the Links, Fonts Tab on the Page Editor dialog box to set hyperlink colors, underlining, and hover effects for the page. These colors only apply to links on text. Links on images are not affected. You can set the colors of individual links from within the text editor’s link editor. You may also specify parameters to redirect users to a different web page after a specified interval if the current page becomes inactive.
Controls on the Links, Fonts Tab of the Page Editor dialog box include the following:
|Unvisited||Click to open the Color dialog box, allowing you to set the color of unvisited hyperlinks. The button text displays the currently selected color.|
|Visited||Click to open the Color dialog box, allowing you to set the color of already-visited hyperlinks. The button text displays the currently selected color.|
|Selected||Click to open the Color dialog box, allowing you to set the color of selected hyperlinks (i.e., link has focus (dotted rectangle) and mouse has passed over once. The definition of a selected link varies from browser to browser.) The button text displays the currently selected color.|
|Hover||With the Use Hover option box selected (checkmarked), click to open the Color dialog box, allowing you to set the color to display hyperlinks when the user moves the mouse pointer over them. The button text displays the currently selected color.|
|Use Hover||Click to checkmark to enable you to set a color to display hyperlinks when the user hovers the mouse pointer over them.|
|Do not underline links||Click to checkmark to remove the underline from hyperlinked text.|
|All Pages||Click to apply the current hyperlink color settings to all pages in the project.|
Optional. Click a radio button corresponding to the character set to use when the user’s browser is interpreting text in the HTML. Choose from among UTF8, ANSI or Other. If you choose Other, you must enter a character set name in the next field or leave it blank to use no character set (not recommended). Generally this won’t affect you, unless you are using special characters in your file names or page name. For instance, if you wanted to use accented (ê for example) characters in your page name, you would need to specify the ANSI character set which will use the Western European character set iso-8859-1. Some European users may use this functionality.
Click to open the Font dialog box, allowing you to set default text attributes for all text in your project. For more information, see Font Dialog Box.
